The Voices for Health Justice MKE represents a network of BIPOC-led grassroots organizations with deep community ties, strong credibility, and a track record of commitment to improving health and community conditions through a racial equity lens by addressing structural and systemic barriers in Milwaukee, WI.

Samantha Collier
Samantha Collier is the founder and executive director of TeamTeal365 Inc., an organization dedicated to supporting survivors of sexual assault. With nearly 20 years of experience in anti-violence work, youth empowerment, and social-emotional growth, she has served various organizations, schools, and businesses, including America Works WI and Milwaukee Excellence Charter. Her work focuses on developing national systems of change to support survivors.

I am Cynthia Jones from Devine Women Foundation Inc. I am a mother, a wife. I work with domestic violence sexual assault teen moms.

Jarvis West
I am proud to be a father, a brother, and a husband. As a military veteran and a dedicated Papa to 48 grandchildren, I bring a vibrant voice grounded in lived experience and an inclusive perspective. Through my journey, I have cultivated a wealth of knowledge—both learned and understood—that I am eager to share while remaining open to growth and discovery. I strive to be a valuable asset wherever I contribute, guided by the belief that 'You never know what you don't know.' For me, there are no ceilings—only opportunities to rise to the occasion.

Victoria Gillet
Victoria Gillet is a primary care internist and educator in Milwaukee, WI. She is the program director of an Internal Medicine residency primary care track, where she teaches future internal medicine physicians to be both excellent clinicians and health leaders working with community for health justice. She is also a dedicated climate change and environmental justice activist with leadership roles in multiple Wisconsin-based climate advocacy nonprofits.

Mia Morse
Mia Morse is a Milwaukee, WI native. She began her birth work journey in 2019. Since then, Mia has been an advent advocate for BIPOC women empowerment, healthy birth practices, self-advocacy and is a member of various birth work organizations and partnerships.
Mia is the owner and operator of Blossoming Motherhood, a certified full spectrum doula service and Co-founder of The Doula Village MKE. She prides herself in facilitating opportunities for families to bond and celebrate the birth journey. Mia grounds her purpose on encouraging the abilities of motherhood as well as using a village mindset to connect, educate and collaborate to improve infant and maternal health disparities.
In addition to being a community-based doula, Mia is a Certified Birth and Postpartum Trainer, Student Midwife, Certified Massage Therapist and BLS Instructor.

Vivian Watson
Vivian has served as a Public Health Educator, a Facilitator for Vaccine Workshops in Milwaukee County, and is a current member of a Collaborative Work Group focused on Health Disparities in African American Communities in Milwaukee County. The specific health disparity of focus is Lung Cancer. In addition Vivian has been a contributing writer for the Milwaukee
Community Journal.
Vivian has served the Milwaukee Community as a Social Services Professional for over 25 years
in various roles including, Operations Manager at a W2 Agency, recruitment for Adoptive
Parents, and Community Engagement. Vivian has licensed homes to become Foster Care Homes. Vivian has worked as a Public Health Professional on the Federal Level at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) the Public Health arm of the Federal Government as a Health Communications Trainer in Atlanta Georgia.
Vivian completed a Bachelor of Science in Social Welfare in 3 years at the University of
Wisconsin Milwaukee, also completed a Master of Science in Business Management at Cardinal
Stritch University, and completed a Certificate in Community Leadership through the Future
Milwaukee Community Leadership Program at Marquette University College of Professional
Studies. In addition, Vivian has been a contributing writer for the Milwaukee Community Journal.
Vivian has found great joy over the years in serving the community and being a part of the
village that lives the mission of, “Service to Others is the Rent You Pay for your Room Here on Earth”, Muhammad Ali.
